BSF apprehends 5 Bagladeshi nationals and seizes contrabands

Agartala, Nov 2 (FD) BSF troops of BOP Kamlasagar under Sepahijala district today apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to enter into Indian territory by negotiating the Indo-Bangla border fence.
A BSF statement stated that three apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are resident of Gopalganj district of Bangladesh, whereas one listed Bangladeshi tout facilitating illegal crossing of 03 Bangladeshi nationals is resident of Kasba, Bangladesh.
In another operation BSF troops of BOP Samrupara under Unakoti District apprehended one Bangladeshi national while he was trying to infiltrate into Indian territory. Apprehended Bangladeshi national is a resident of Netrakona district of Bangladesh.
Moreover, the troops of BSF inTripura while intensifying their vigil carried out operations and foiled various attempts of trans-border smuggling along the Indo Bangladesh border, rescued 12 cattle and seized 900Kgs Sugar and other contraband worth ₹ 3 lakhs.
BSF in its statement stated that the troop has enhanced the surveillance along the Indo-Bangla border to prevent trans border crime and infiltration. FD JK
